MOBILE STORAGE CONTAINERS

Although shipping containers make excellent storage containers, delivery and positioning on site requires the use of a large lorry with a crane, known in the trade as a hiab vehicle. This is not a problem as a one off necessity, as this service is all included in our deliver charges. But what happens if you need to to relocate your container in the future? You have to go through the costly and inconvenient process of hiring another hiab lorry! So if you are buying a container and you know it will be moved at some stage, you may want to consider buying from the range of mobile storage containers for sale at Containers Direct.

Mobile storage containers are highly recommended for any business, organisation or individual with more than one site the container may need to move between, or storage items that need to travel quite frequently - for instance many sports clubs will have large equipment that has to be transported to and fro to different venues regularly.

Mobile storage containers do not need any specialist lifting equipment to be moved. As this is a self assembly container, it can be put up and down as many times as required, and transported flat in any vehicle with enough room to accommodate it. As the largest dimension on our longest flat pack container is 4m, this leaves plenty of transport options. Our smaller flat pack containers are only 2m and 3m long, and a uniform 2.1m wide.

To assemble/disassemble mobile storage containers, only basic household tools are required, and the job can be completed in as little as 20 minutes, depending upon your level of DIY experience. But don't be alarmed at the prospect of handling a flat pack container even if you're not used to handling a screwdriver! A full set of simple instructions is included and even those lacking in practical skills can have a fully erect container within an hour.
