With our extensive knowledge and experience of shipping container conversions and new build containers, we came up with the design for the CarTainer® in response to feedback from car owners using shipping containers as garages -although shipping containers make good garage conversions, at 8ft wide there is simply not enough room to manoeuvre in and out the car once parked!

So we have constructed the CarTainer® to measure 10ft wide, which allow plenty of space between the walls and the parked car. In addition we have designed extra security doors, with three heavy duty welded hinges each side, a long bolt mortice lock. To make the doors easy to use we have added ship handles. As ventilation is important in a garage we have incorporated eight vents into the design.

The CarTainer® is a new build container, manufactured "from scratch", with a floor that can bear up to four tonnes in weight, and is available in three lengths:



Included in the price is exterior painting to the colour of your choice.

Please note, the CarTainer® must be sited on a level, hard standing surface.

*If you are storing your car in the garage for prolonged periods, we recommend using a condensation treatment such as Grafotherm which helps manage condensation levels, or ply lining and insulation which will eliminate it completely.
