CONTAINER CONVERSION CASE STUDIES 10ft Office conversion CS28510
CAD drawingWe use this to map out in precise detail how the conversion work will be carried out.
- 10ft 'one trip' container
- Personnel Door
- Two anti vandal windows
- Melamine lined and insulated
- Vinyl flooring
The containerWe begin by taking a once used 10ft container. As this conversion will have no end doors, only a personnel door in the long side, we fabricate a new end wall to make the container 'whole'.
Door and windowsThe personnel door is centrally located in one 10ft side of the container, along with one of the windows. The second window is centrally located in the opposite side, 3ft up from the floor.
The first step is to create the framework for the new door and windows, and then cut the correct sized apertures into container. The frames are then welded into the apertures.
Melamine and InsulateWe use 100mm rockwool for insulation, and 8mm melamine boards. For more detail on this step, see our article Melamine Lined Containers
