New Build Shipping Containers

Wider, taller, narrower! New build shipping containers have got it covered!

Containers Direct specialise in building brand new shipping containers. We are one of the few UK's top manufacturers of new build containers, which are constructed to high standards, offering strength, security and excellent quality. Although there are new and used shipping containers on the market, the current climate has seen them in short supply and prices rapidly rising, so it makes sense for us to manufacture them in the UK, providing alternatives to our customers. In addition, shipping containers coming into the UK are made to conform to standard sizes, meaning they are exclusively 8ft wide containers with a maximum height of 9ft 6in. So if you are looking for a container which falls outside of these parameters then a new build container is the solution.

Typically our new build containers can be manufactured to any width between 5ft and 12ft. For spaces wider than 12ft we can provide two or more units, which can then be joined together on site. This is because transportation of anything above a 12ft wide container is problematic. We use tough 16 gauge corrugated steel to make each panel, and they are fully seam welding together for strong, watertight and dependable results.
