Beach Cafe - Case Study

A new beach café at East Wittering beach, made by us for Drift in West who run both a surf shop and café on the Sussex coast. The project was completed with three separate containers with roller shutters.

Coffee and cafe in a container!

We modified 2 x 20ft containers, and a third one of 10ft, based on our design for the MenuBox pop-up catering unit, which includes all essential features for preparing and serving food on the go from. A full length roller shutter door was fitted into the first 20ft container, along with roller shutter serving hatches in all three containers. Hopefully the queues will be kept down with all these hatches!

We offer three types of serving access fitted into our pop up food and drink conversions - the roller shutter hatch, lifting hatch and an outward opening flat panel hatch. As part of our standard package MenuBox we also fit a sink and worktop, vinyl flooring and electrics, but on this occasion our client opted to complete the internal fit out themselves.
