Containers suitable for storage

As well as being a leading supplier of shipping containers in Leeds, we also supply a wide range of great value steel storage containers. Ideal as a cheap secure site lock-up for the secure storage of building materials, but also suitable for all types of storage, from school equipment to household effects, and agricultural supplies to sports and hobby apparatus. We can supply these type of containers in every size from 5ft to 45ft depending on your requirements, as we cut down containers in our in-house fabrication depot in Liverpool.

Containers for shipping

Based in Garston Docks, Containers Direct has excellent links to Leeds and all surrounding areas such as Wakefield, Bradford, Harrogate and York, including a supplier depot and local hauliers. If you are shipping abroad we will ensure the container you purchase holds the necessary CSC plate and documentation that qualifies it as safe for shipping.

We offer the two standard sizes of shipping containers: 20ft and 40ft in length. We also offer both used and once-used shipping containers. Once-used containers are categorised as nearly new as they have had minimal use and therefore few signs of wear and tear. Our used containers are lower priced than once-used, but are still structurally sound and cargo worthy, protected by our 12 month warranty, full details can be found in Clause 6 of our Terms and Conditions.

We are fortunate enough to have our own conversion and new-build facilities on site in our main depot in the North West, which means we can supply shipping containers in Leeds to our customers own specifications. The first of its kind, Containers Direct are excited to be at the forefront of the Pizza Express Pod project that aims to roll out 1,000 new pizzerias globally by 2030. Designed to cook and serve pizza in the car park at Tesco Express in Southampton, the "grab and go" pizza pod is based on our MenuBox® design - an open kitchen housed in a shipping container, fitted with a collection window. With another two pods that have since opened in Swansea and Waltham Cross, we're looking forward to continuing to supply more shipping containers to bring the UK proper pizza on the go.
