This one trip 20ft shipping container has been converted for our client into a control house for biomass energy conversion plant. It has a partition incorporating a perspex panel, and two personnel doors.

Once the interior of the container has been adapted, we can complete the outside, with new doors and repainting.

Design
Step 1 - Cutting door apertures
A framework for the each new door has to be made first, then apertures cut into the specified positions, ready to weld the framework into. A drip rail is also welded to the top of the aperture, so the new door can be attached.Creating the partition
The first step is to make a steel frame work, and weld this into the container Next we cut steel sheets using our guilllotine, which are used to fill the framework. A gap was left for the perspex window.The perspex panel
The 600mm x 600m perspex panel cut and fitted into the partition creates a viewing area and allows more light in to both sections of the container.Fitting the personnel doors and repainting
