This deluxe double garage has been created from two 10ft wide new build containers that we joined together to give a total width of 20ft. In this case, that's enough room for two large cars with enough space in between when parked up to comfortably open the doors and exit the cars. Although this is a bespoke build, it is based on our CarTainer® design, which offers the highest levels of security with thick corrugated steel walls and doors and a secure steel lockable roller shutter.

- Removal of one long side of each container (retaining 350mm corrugation around the aperture for units to be joined together)

Joined-up containers
Joined-up containers are used when extra-wide units are required by our clients, most commonly for offices, classrooms and garages. Standard shipping containers are restricted to a width of 8ft, so our two options for making extra-wide containers are:- Using new or used shipping containers, we remove the long side walls, complete the conversion work and then join the containers up once in place on-site.
